Woe is me

by Ken Carpenter

I have a new story for today, and it is my only posting because it is on the long side compared to some. It seems my general theme the past week, if not the past 20 years, has been mocking myself. This is not hard to do. My brain tends to travel its own winding path, which means there are various dead ends, switchbacks and steep ass hills.
I had fun writing this one. Maybe a few of you will have some fun reading it.
